Ocoee is located on the western side of Orange County, in central Florida. Ocoee was incorporated in 1922 and became a city in 1925. Ocoee has an ever growing population and is zoned education wise for three high schools including Ocoee High School, West Orange High School, and Olympia High School. Ocoee is home to such outdoor activities the West Orange Trail for biking, walking, and jogging, and Forrest Lake Golf Course. For those looking to be close to the theme parks Ocoee offers the option of being a reasonable distance away without being right on top of all the theme park action. Ocoee is also located close to major highways allowing for easy access to downtown and other major attractions.
